Education/Training: Post-Graduate Study, Department of Scenography, State Academy of Theatrical Arts, St. Petersburg, Russia, 1996; M.F.A. in Scenography, Department of Scenography, State Academy of Theatrical Arts, St. Petersburg, Russia, 1994; BFA in Painting and Graphic Art, State Industrial Arts Academy, Leningrad, U.S.S.R., 1988.

Representative Productions:

The most recent and upcoming projects include, among many others, scene and/or costume design for Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company (Fever/Dream and Gruesome Playground Injuries), John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts (Unleashed: The Secret Lives of the White House Pets and Barrio Grrrl!), Maryland Opera Studio (Evgeny Onegin, Xerxes and Cosi fan tutte), Theatre J (Seagull on the 16th Street, Honey Brown Eyes, Either/Or, Lost in Yonkers, and The New Jerusalem.) Milwaukee Shakespeare (Cymbeline), Round House Theatre (Around the World in 80 Days) and Shanghai Dramatic Arts Center (North Bank, Suzhou Creek). He worked as a museum designer at The State Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg, Russia from 1994 to 1998; he is also a renowned painter and printmaker, whose work has been shown at numerous one-man and group exhibitions in the United States and abroad.
