This spring, be sure to experience VISIT MARYLAND DAY, an open house for prospective students and their families.  Throughout the day there will be information sessions, student panels and tours of campus so you can experience Maryland live and in person. If you would like to attend one of these programs, please make reservations at least one week in advance by registering below or calling 1-800-422-5867. Spring sessions are specially geared to admitted students, but all prospective students are welcome to join the Theatre Open House Session.

Groups will assemble at the front entrance of the Department of Theatre. The visitation includes a 40 minute tour of the Department and information packet. If you would like to attend one of these programs, please let us know at least one week in advance by emailing to thetinfo@umd.edu.

Department of Theatre Individual Visitations

Visits to the Department of Theatre may be set up at least one week in advance. Visits include a 40 minute tour of the Theatre facilities and a packet of information about the Center and the Theatre Program. We are unable to schedule visits on Saturdays and Sundays. Tour dates are Mondays and Wednesdays between 11 am and 1 pm. Other dates and times may be scheduled depending on availibility.
