REHEARSAL ROOM ETIQUETTE Throughout your academic career in the Theatre Department you will use the rehearsal spaces for class projects and other activities: group meetings, acting and directing rehearsals, etc. There are four rehearsal rooms: Lab Theatre (2740), Rehearsal 1 (3736), Mulitz-Gudelsky Studio (3730) and Schoenbaum Studio (3732). Each room is equipped with the same furniture pieces: four black chairs, one door, three carpeted boxes, one table and two flats. The lab also has a frame door and additional stair units. Here are some rules to keep in mind while you are using theses spaces and their furniture: 1) This is a brand new building. Please take good care of the furniture in the rehearsal rooms: do not write, paint or do anything else that would alter them and move them with care. 2) All furniture pieces are stenciled "Theatre" and the room number they belong to. Please do not remove or hide the stenciling, it is there so that we can track furniture pieces. 3) In each room upstairs there is a space outlined by blue paint. Please put the furniture back behind the blue lines before you leave the rehearsal room. 4) The furniture is heavy so take your time to put it back and try to do it with the help of others. A suggestion: roll the boxes forward instead of sliding them, because it damages their carpet covering. Pleas be careful when moving the flats; either pick them up or walk them from side to side; please be careful when you lean them against the wall, others have made holes in the walls from letting go of the flats too quickly. If you keep these rules in mind, we can have a brand new Performing Arts Center for a long time still! Thank You, Space Manager
